High-Pressure Compressor FAQ
1. Can I use it for the GEAROPT 0.5L and 1.0L Mini Tank?
Yes. It is designed as an electric refill support option for compatible GEAROPT 0.5L and 1.0L Mini Tank systems. Always use the required filter setup and follow the product manual.
2. How long does filling take?
Approximate filling time may vary depending on cylinder size, remaining pressure, temperature and operating conditions. As a reference, filling time is approximately 11 minutes for a 0.5L tank and approximately 20 minutes for a 1.0L tank.
3. What pressure should I set?
Set the compressor according to the rated working pressure of your Mini Tank. For GEAROPT Mini Tanks, do not exceed 200 BAR / 3000 PSI unless otherwise stated in the product manual.
4. Do I need to use the oil-water filter hose?
Yes. Always use the required oil-water filter hose and filter elements when filling a Mini Tank. The filter setup helps reduce moisture and impurities in the compressed air.
5. Can I leave the compressor running by itself ?
No. The GEAROPT High-Pressure Compressor features preset pressure and automatic shutoff. It will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached, and will power off if it overheats. This frees your hands during operation, but you should still monitor the compressor, pressure gauge, and temperature to ensure safe filling and proper handling. Never leave it completely unattended.
6. Does it need oil or water cooling?
This compressor uses an oil-free design and built-in cooling fans. It does not require an external water-cooling pump or regular oil maintenance. Always follow the product manual and allow the compressor to cool down when needed.
7. Can I use oxygen, Nitrox or industrial gas?
No. Do not use oxygen, Nitrox, industrial gas, contaminated air or any unauthorized gas source. Fill only with clean, dry, breathable compressed air according to the product manual and applicable local regulations.
8. Can I use my own compressor or third-party compressor for GEAROPT Mini Tanks?
Use only compatible refill equipment, approved connection accessories and the required filter setup. If you are unsure whether a compressor or adapter is suitable, contact GEAROPT support before filling.
9. What should I do after filling?
Stop filling at the rated pressure, turn off the compressor, release pressure from the hose according to the product manual, disconnect safely and store the compressor in a clean, dry place.
